Artist Profile
Bobbie McMonagle is an artist living and working in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was traditionally trained at the University of Minnesota where she earned a B.A. in Studio Art with a Minor in Art History.
For the past four years she has been exploring Abstraction. She paints in acrylic paints on canvas in a non representational style. They are paintings, pure, simple, plain, painted color propositions, emerging from her life experiences. Her inspiration comes from an open mind and spirit while considering color, line, shape, tone, mathematics, proportion, history, humanity, and balance.
Bobbie’s work has appeared in “Tosca” Magazine. She was awarded a prize by the Plymouth Fine Arts Council at the Primavera Art Exhibit. She has exhibited at the Epiphany Gallery in Excelsior at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Her work was chosen for “Abstraction in Action” a juried exhibition at Minnetonka Center for the Arts. Artists from a five state area submitted work for this show. Her work has been exhibited at the Maple Grove Center for the Arts.
As the result of a solo exhibit at Lundstrum Performing Arts in November of 2016, Bobbie was able to donate 50 percent of the sales of her art work to the non-profit Lundstrum Center.

Shipping within the United States is eligible for a flat-rate fee of $30.00/painting. Items will be shipped via USPS. If outside of the United States, please contact the artist before making the purchase. Shipping to some destinations is not available.
